Speculum is approximately
6 1/2" from end to end and it opens about 4 1/4" wide. The blades are 4

This is such a handy device because it is
operative
with a squeeze of the hand on the handles and voila!!! ... it opens,
wide,
wider...
widest!
Then, turn the thumbscrew lock and it locks it open...
to release, simply loosen the thumbscrew, release the handles and it's
closed

The Hirschman
